Sensory Story Time + Science

I am thrilled to begin working with Radiant to offer sensory based story time and activities! I have been a teacher for over twenty years, and have experience with all grade levels from elementary to high school. I love watching children's creativity through exploration, which is why I began New Kits on the Book. At New Kits on the Book, I make sensory bins and activities based on books. My goal is to find ways to help children learn through sensory exploration, fun, and creativity. I'm excited to work with the children and staff at Radiant to bring this sensory learning experience, along with some fun learning opportunities, and watch their creativity shine!

I began my work career as a High School English/Theater teacher, and then continued to teach Theater as an adjunct professor at Rollins College.

Because of my love for everything “kids & acting”, I then began a career working for Disney's Mickey Mouse Club, Nickelodeon, & Universal Studios teaching many of the child actors there.

Fast forward many years and you will find me living here in Nocatee and running my acting business - Readysetacting.com.

Originally from Venezuela, my journey has taken me from engineering to education, where my passion truly lies. I'm married to an American, and together, we're raising our 5-year-old daughter. Teaching isn't just a profession for me, I find immense joy in guiding young minds, especially in math and emotional intelligence. I believe in empowering my students with the practicality of numbers while nurturing their emotional growth, recognizing that both are integral to their learning journey and life experiences. I have the opportunity to put this into practice here at Radiant and through my online tutoring classes for elementary students from different parts of the US and Venezuela.
