"Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's learning to dance in the rain!"
After the storm and chaos of the last few months, it was a relief to finally move into our new space! Everyone in our community was dancing for joy as they brought boxes through the front door. This space, this Radiant Collective, has been a dream Coach J and I have been manifesting and working toward since we first met as young aspirational educators in college. With bright eyes and optimism, we went to work to change the world with a vision of the future and hope in our hearts.
Over the years at public schools, then charter schools and private schools, we met countless amazing and inspiring educators who continued to shine their light even in the face of overwhelming adversity. When I chose to leave traditional schooling, it was with a heavy heart, but we knew we wanted something different for our daughters and our family. A space where they could grow and thrive, use their imagination and creativity, stay young. Did this place even exist? We never would have dreamed that homeschooling could look like this...
Running a homeschool program can have its challenges, and after this year, we didn't know if it was worth it moving forward. Overwhelmed with anxiety and grief about our situation, we finally made the decision to reach out to our community and you all truly showed us what it means be a village, a family. We are all in this together and we appreciate every one of our radiant families. Thank you all for making our dream a reality!
