Christmas Time is Here

Over this past month, we filmed the sequel to a wonderful, heartwarming film called "Christmas Time '' written and directed by Blake last year. Ever since, I always wanted to make a sequel to this film, but then months and months passed by and I asked Blake to make a sequel and he agreed. So on November 17th, we started filming, chatting about the script and found backgrounds for the green screen!

The original "Christmas Time" is about a boy named Nicholas who receives a cat on Christmas morning and names him Whiskers. Soon they learn that Santa is planning to retire and wants to make Nicholas the new Santa. So with that being said, Nicholas does Santa Training like sleigh flying and a lot more!

Eventually Whiskers gets sick and has to leave Nicholas and have a journey to feel better. In the sequel, she travels to the North Pole because of the sound of "Jingle Bells”. She shows up and Santa is watching television, he suddenly starts sneezing. Why is he feeling sick? Come to our showcase to find out!

Overall this film made me very happy, as well as my peers. I'm glad that we made this film because the ending in the first really inspired me to make a sequel. Thank you Blake, Ben, Juno, Ms Jo, and all the kids at Radiant for making my dream film come true ❤️! We will be showing "Christmas Time" and "Christmas Time II: Whiskers Returns" at our Winter Showcase this Friday.
