Radiant Collective Adventurers Club embarked on another unforgettable EPCOT Excursion—this time to the stunning Morocco Pavilion! From the moment our families gathered in the plaza, we were in for a day full of exploration, creativity, and community-building.
Our adventure began with a Walking “Rooftop” Tour led by Ms. Jo and Coach J, guiding us through the enchanting "cities" of Marrakesh, Fez, and Rabat. The pavilion’s intricate design and architecture transported us straight to North Africa, with every step offering a new discovery. Our young explorers learned about the historical significance of each city, while taking in the beauty of this vibrant pavilion.
Next, we settled into the bustling marketplace for a sketching session where the kids had a chance to capture the pavilion’s unique art and architecture. With pencils in hand, they created beautiful sketches of Moroccan art, soaking in the atmosphere of the market.
Afterward, families teamed up for a lively Scavenger Hunt throughout the pavilion. It was so fun to watch as everyone worked together to find various Moroccan items. A few lucky teams even got a little extra help from the friendly cast members who were thrilled to share hidden gems about Morocco!
We gathered again at the Gallery of Art and Culture for a Puzzle Hunt, where our learners cracked riddles while exploring the cultural exhibits. Once all the puzzles were solved, we ventured to Kidcot, where the kids visited the traditional Fez House to learn about the significance of Moroccan craftsmanship and history.
One of the highlights of the day was the time families spent relaxing in the pavilion’s lounge, sipping coffee and tea while the kids delighted in a hands-on sand art activity. This interactive experience let the children create colorful keepsakes to take home, and the smiles all around were proof of how magical the moment was.
To wrap up our excursion, we gathered for a delicious meal at the Spice Road Café, savoring Mediterranean flavors while reflecting on the day. One student interviewed a waiter from Casablanca as a keepsake and souvenir for her fellow classmates in Adventurers Club.
As a final treat, we boarded the Friendship Boat for a scenic ride to the Canada Pavilion. Kids could view our next destination - Mexico - along the way. Once on the bridge to Mexico, Ms. Jo pointed out one of EPCOT’s best-hidden views of both the Morocco Pavilion and the Tower of Terror—an exciting discovery for all!
It was yet another wonderful day of learning, exploration, and bonding as a community. Radiant Collective thrives on fostering these enriching experiences, where families can grow, connect, and share in the magic of learning together. We are so grateful to be a part of this incredible journey with you all.
Stay tuned for more EPCOT Excursions and community adventures in the months ahead! Next Stop - Mexico!
